Terapia Melódica e Rítmica na Afasia (TMR): Uma Revisão Integrativa

Resumo

A afasia é um distúrbio de linguagem adquirido resultante de uma lesão no cérebro. Em alguns casos os pacientes são capazes de cantar melhor os versos de uma canção do que os fariam lendo. Esse fato gerou várias pesquisas nas potencialidades e deficits no uso da Melodic Intonation Terapy (MIT). A partir daí, várias outras questões foram levantadas quanto conteúdo musical e de vocabulário da MIT dando origem a outras abordagens como a Thérapie Mélodique et Rythmée (TMR). Objetivos: Averiguar quantos mais países de idioma latino pesquisaram na TMR. Método: Foram realizadas buscas pelos termos em inglês, português, espanhol, italiano e francês. Resultados: A busca resultou em 16 estudos relacionados. Conclusões: A TMR tem sido estudada em diversos idiomas latinos como francês e italiano e tem demonstrado bons resultados, inclusive ao ser utilizada em conjunto com softwares. Estudos em português ainda são escassos.
