This article aims to verify and discuss the extent to which transdisciplinary thinking is present in music, whether in contexts focused on creation, performance, research, or in music teaching. The most endorsed authors, among others, were Basarab Nicolescu, E. Morin, F. Capra, S. Magnani, E. Fubini, M. Jiminez. After studying, it was found that it is possible for music to ingratiate itself with transdisciplinarity in the processes of musical creation and interpretation and that, from a different perception, the musical language itself contains elements and procedures that are present in transdisciplinarity.
